535i lease payment calculator

Hi all. I'm new to this forum but have found a bunch of useful information and thought I'd give back. Using the wholesale pricing sheet, I created the attached spreadsheet to help you calculate your monthly lease payments for a 2011 535i. All you need to do is select the options/packages you want in the first column (by changing the 0 to a 1), and then the invoice and MSRP totals at the bottom will change accordingly. The options you select will be indicated in red bold text. Note that if you select a package, it will highlight the included options in red bold, but will only add the price of the package (not the individual options). There are two options at the bottom for determining the final lease payment, one that marks up x percent from the invoice price and one that discounts y percent from the MSRP (depending on how you're negotiating your deal). You also need to select the proper base rate (or MF), residual (my dealer quoted me 62%), and tax. I'm sure there are ways to improve this, but since I put the work into it, I thought I'd share with the group. Let me know if there are any questions I can answer about using the sheet, but I'm pretty new to this, so more substantive questions about the ins and outs of the leasing process are probably better directed at more-informed members.

Very nice. I'll have to take your word for the accuracy of the interest calculation, as it seems too simple to me. Although it appears to generate similar results from the calculators that I've seen on the Internet, so you probably got it right. It appears that you omitted the $750 (I think) fee for the privilege of getting a lease from BMWFS, at least for those of us in the USA.

Thanks for sharing!

Michael

Do you mind including the M-Package and the European Delivery Calculator.

I have tried downloading the zip file above (I have windows 7) but it says the contents are empty. Does anyone have a valid copy or mind emailing it to me at sethfl at hotmail (dotcom). Or if this is not an option, where can I find accurate invoice pricing. Thx
