Did you try compressed downloading the files to your computer first? Once on your computer, you should just be able to select them. Winzip (or whatever extraction program u have) should open the folder. Then just drag the contents to your desktop. That's really about it.

Check your computer, maybe re-install winzip or winrar.

+1 on the corrupt download.

The file should be around 37Kb.

PM me, and I'll email it to you -- my turn to pay it forward

UPDATE:
there seems to be some problem using FIREFOX to down load..

I AM able to sucessfully download / extract when using IE ...
so its something to do with my browser..

thanks Bolty that was my only next option!

ok so just to confirm.. all I need to go from my V3 rev.2 to the latest/ greatest v4.1 are these 2 downloaded zip files..
1. PROceed user software v4.10 AutoTuning
2. __BETA release 8-17 maps with firmware 28.

Glad to hear you got it sorted out! And yes, all you need to do is update the firmware and map to get full v4 functionality. You don't even need to use the new software to do this. But it's a good thing to do since i'm sure you will end up using it one day.

Yes correct. But according to the OP, he already has a Rev.2. But is still running v3. The only thing else he may need are the CANbus wires in the harness. But I'm pretty sure all of the harnesses on the road have that already.

If you have a rev.2 with a harness that says "Procede Canbus X" you are good to go. You have all the hardware you need. If you have one of the first few pre-CANbus harnesses, all you will need is two wires that we can send to you to fit in your harness. Very simple job. But chances are you already have a updated harness.

As for communication, are you sure the ignition power is fully on (not just accessory power)?

I posted in the other thread, but I'll mention it here because it JUST happened to me: Make sure you update your settings after downloading the new firmware / maps to baseline settings. My V3 -> V4 settings had 100% Meth /Nos Progressive turned ON (should be off if not running Meth) and boosting to 18lb of boost. Obviously, you don't want that.

Put your settings to a baseline like the picture on Shiv's thread on the Vishnu Tuning board to start to be safe. Enjoy autotuning!

You don't have to change all the default values. Once you load up the map with the software, they will already be there. The default values are loaded in the map, not the software. Just make sure you give the software a few seconds to read the map from the procede before opening up the user adjustable page. You will see it go from 0 to 100% in the status bar. If you don't let it do that, the user software won't fully read the map on the procede and show the wrong settings.

You would think not, but the old values were persistent after the firmware/map update for me. I would've thought they'd of gone to default too, but they didn't. I don't know if the old owner had put in anything special either, I bought mine used from the forum here.

That said, I just dialed them down using the picture you have on the Vishnu forum and couldn't be happier with the car's/tune's performance now.
