Bimmian HID Housings and HID
Well, just made the purchase of Bimmian 328xi Fog light housings and Their HID kit. Was worried that the OEM fog lights would either melt from the HID heat or would not properly disperse the light without blinding oncoming traffic.
Has anyone installed these on their 3 series? If so, what were your results? Any installation or aiming tips? Are there any other companies that make aftermarket HID housings for the fog lights on our vehicles? If so, what were your results? |

Mike,
HIDs run at less power draw and at a lower operating temperature than your factory halogens so you do not risk melting the housing or OE wiring. |

Ok, what about beam focus? The factory Fog lights are not designed for HID bulbs, so isn't there an advantage to putting in housings designed for HID?
Better phrased, are there any disadvantages to these housings? |
