I picked up a Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS system for my car over the holiday. Just got around to installing it in my car. The mount and ball head clip were ordered from Proclips. They had several options, but I decided against the vent mount and went with the console mount. Since the system has TTS, I don't need to glance at the map all to often (although, it's easy enough to do so).

For those without the OEM installed GPS, this is a quick and easy solution. The GPS system works great ... the unit gets rave reviews, and it still tops Consumer Reports out of 20 GPS units. I'm happy with it

The mount. No cutting, etc. Simply "clips" right in - easy and clean. And it ain't going anywhere!


Ballhead. Easy to rotate the GPS once mounted. Nice.


Loading the maps at boot-up. The roundel was my custom creation -- it didn't come with the GPS.


Looks OEM though!
