9.1l/100km

it was the first real highway drive with the 335 for me since I got it, today I went to Toronto then back home, left at 5:30am and back at 4:00pm, exactly 1200km, at the destination I put 55 liter for 600km, same back home, what's funny is speed going was average 120km/h and back was 135, but average consumption was exactly the same, is it downhill back from Toronto to Montreal?

The wind is at your back coming back, of course. Nice mileage in your 335, beats the old M5, eh???

absolutely! 500km max, impossible to get to Toronto with the same fuel tank, and that was with feather use of the accelerator... still, not bad for what it is.

Even the F150 was getting 700km per tank, wait, that was with 134l...

FWIW, I'm getting 9.1/l in overall driving (about 70% city, 30% DVP/401) with a 328xi. I'm not a slow driver.... Nice to see the gas prices have dropped.

Stick - of course

Naught wrong with Fords (for the price). Unlike BMWs, the company does employ a few thousand workers in our province. The Freestar was a bust but hopefully the Edge will keep people in Oakville in a job for a while.

9.1l/100km is sweet... I'm getting 10.8l/100km with 328i MT, any hints?
What does your millage indicator shows when you are cursing, mine hovers around the 10-11 mark...
What RPM do you shift at per gear?
Thanks

mine hover around 8, 8.5l, @ 120 or 130kmh (same thing), with all that torque available from 1400rpm I shift at about 3500-4000 rpm (during winter)...

I'm still floating at 13.6l/100km on my 330xi auto, 95% city driving. I've been told that it should improve after my first oil change though, so I'll probably elect to just pay and have it done at 7k or so.
