Rate this deal for a F10 535i

Just came back from the dealership and had a test drive of the 535i.
This is what was offered to me w/o any bargaining from my side as an opening offer.

36 month 12k/year lease
535i
ZSP
ZPP
ZP2
STEPTRONIC tranny

MSRP: 59475.00
Sale price: 57,700

MF .0025
2171.48 due at signing (includes first month, bank fee and registration)

812.71 per month plus tax.

Does bmw ever wave the bank fee so that' it's only first month's payment due at signing?

Where do I have some wiggle room in this? I believe the base rates are .0023 currently. He actually told me I should wait till the beginning of September as he thinks the rates will be lower.

Any advice/thoughts/comments are appreciated.
Thanks

For some reason when I calculate with these numbers I get a higher payment rate.

As a starting point, if you want to be fair, give the dealer 4% margin. So assuming 9% avail to the dealer on MSRP, then you start your negotiation with a lease cap cost of 56,501.25. 55,906 should be doable if you push hard (3% margin) or say you go to another dealer. I also ALWAYS negotiate a discount on all accessory purchases made with 12 months of acquiring the vehicle - 30% off list is fair - and this would apply to things like winter tires with rims, winter mats, and other accessories.

I find that a lot if people forget to cut a deal on accessories, add ones, etc. at the time of making a deal. Most are totally focused on the 4 wheels, not the "total" deal.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice. I will try at another dealer and see what they come up with without any bargaining first. I didn't haggle at all yet but the dealer was not the pushy type either which I really liked.

So is there any chance of getting that 725 bank fee waived or do they not do that? Does the drive off amount sound about right?

Like I said before when I calculate this with the numbers I get a price of 921 per month so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

If I were to get that selling price you mentioned then what would my monthly payments drop to?
Thanks again.

I'd have to crunch the numbers. I don't hav the info on current money factor, fees etc. Maybe a US person can plug it onto a lease calculator for you. Just whatever you do, don't talk monthly payments with the dealer. Hammer at the cap rate. This is wherevthe biggest gain for you is made. A $1,000 reduction translates into about a $25/mth reduction in you lease payment.

The MF I was offered was .0025 but I believe the current base rate is .0023.

So I will work on getting that cap cost down to what you said first. Is there any wiggle room in the MF or is that set by BMW? Is there a chance I can get that down to .0023?

Don't forget that MF can vary depending on your credit.

I have never been able to get them to drop any of those STUPID fees on a lease. They aren't dealer fees, they are BMW FS.

I would suggest that you use the Internet and try to find another source for financing. Use that in your negotiations.

Ok- so I managed to get 1500 over invoice and he dropped the MF to .0025.
I'm working on getting 30% off tires/rims for a year as an above poster mentioned.

Not to shabby I guess? I could probably push a little harder.
