The BMW Performance SSK (335i) should fit on the 2011 N55 right?

I have purchased a BMW SSK and took it to my local stealership to get a quote for installation. I was totally shocked when I was told that the install would take 3.5 hours @ $160/hr! I only paid $375 for the whole freakin kit.

When I asked how it was possible that a simple SSK install could take so long, I was actually told that it involved removing the exhaust and gearbox, istalling the SSK and then putting everything back. This totally didnt make sense to me but I wasn't certain this was bs yet so I didn't get confrontational....

I then remembered that trusty old E90POST had a huge DIY thread and decided to see for myself how hard it really was. It turns out that the install is relatively easy and only takes between 30-60 minutes with basic tools. I've had the overwhelming urge to call this SA and tear him a new one for trying to rip me off. BUT...I then thought about the small possibility that the N55 changed things up a bit and now the install might not be so easy. What if they really do need to do all that stuff they quoted me?

So my question is; Does anyone know if the 2011 E92 N55's exhaust placement is any different from the N54s? Could there be some truth behind what that SA told me? From what I've heard and read, both the N54 and N55 use the same Getrag tranny so nothing there changed. Thanks

Everything should be the same only the engine and headers/DP have changed.

Do you mean that different units are being used and that is the only difference or is their placement different as well?

How about you give Tischer BMW a call or email? I am sure they will be happy to confirm your question.
