What offsets, im a complete idiot, please help.

Im thinking about purchasing 19" M6 reps from
http://www.**********s.com/product.a...=Miro_Type_346

I know, nothing quite original, but i cannot find a better looking rim for that price.

Anyway, im going 8.5 in the front 9.5 in the back.

What offset should i use in the Front and back to have a slightly more agressive than stock look.
Someone on this board said ET30, but they only have 25 and 35...

Thanks for the help!

Also, how wide are the tires that i need to buy for the front and back, and the profile also? Should i just call **********s, and they would tell me all this information?

I will be running the same setup, I am doing:

19x8.5 et35
19x9.5 et40

I will be dropping my ride on H&R sports and don't want to roll my fenders so I am going with et40. If I ran et20 in the rear I would definitely rub without rolling the fenders.

If you plan to stay on stock suspension or sports package suspension you will be fine with et20.

Remember, the lower the offset, the farther out the outer edge of the rim will sit. et20 will be the most aggressive offset. et40 still looks good, just not as aggressive.

check out this link, aznevovii is running et20 in the rear

anidjare is running et40 in the rear, still looks pimp

as far as tire size, to stay as close to stock as possible use

235/35-19

If you only have a choice of 25 or 35mm offsets for both the front and back wheels, i'd get 35mm offsets for both.

I just bought M6 reps from Nick at JLevisW.com. They have them in stock#1. They also gave me the best price .... only $40 less but hey. I got the 19x8.5s 35 et, and 19x9.5s 40 et. Miro only makes a 20et and 40 et for the rear wheel. I also ordered 10mm spacers for the rear wheels. That will give me an equivalent 30et in the rear. The 20et wheels in the rear would have rubbed with 275s that I already have in my living room. Aznevovii's car is awesome .... it sold me. He runs the 20et's in the rear and can get away with it since he only has 245s.

I already have the car lowered on H&R Sport Springs. I had bought IForged Daytonas but got dicked over time and time again from WheelsDirectOnline and IForged ... they kept pushing out the date so I finally canceled. I ended up saving 2 grand so I am not too pissed. I will write a thread on the whole F'd up experience ... talk about unprofessionalism.

Keep us updated with your m6 reps set up, i am considering to do something very similar to you, but running 12mm spacers instead and already lowered with h&r sports, what tire set up will you be running?

Heres my update - JLevisSW sent me an email after I called on when my M6s would arrive. I then get an email saying they were not in stock after they said they were. Who can you believe? Where can I order these wheels? Not **********s - they are out. Wheel vendors suck.

Go with a set of ASA AR1 wheels. They look similar to the CSLs and Tire Rack almost always has them in stock.

John (aznevoviii) is selling the M6 wheels/tires off his 335i (which happened to be DC Metro IV's Car of Meet). Since you are both local, you might want to check out his low mileage set for sale...it'd take a lot of legwork/guesswork out of the equation.

I am just a newbie about all these information. as what you said above, I am wondering what offset it would be run in the front if you make a 20et in the rear? according to my understanding, would it be smaller? Or i just misunderstood all the things? thank you.

if you run et20 in the back, the front will be et35, 19X8.5 in the front

I would get ET35 in the front and ET25 in the rears. I have had e90 owners order that set up from me and run it without problems.

see what I don't understand is as per Daya "the lower the offset, the farther out the outer edge of the rim will sit" and he is running the setup 19x8.5 et35 in the front and 19x9.5 et40 in the back, and when the back setup is switched to et20, was the front setup supposed to be smaller? It might be a dumb question, hehe, but yeah I am trying to figure it out. thanks man.
