Offset question and fitment

Ok, I know there are a ton of topics covering offsets, but I'm kinda confused on how to calculate them overall. A friend of mine is selling his HRE 441s that came off a 2003 3series.

Size: 19x8.5 & 19.9.5
Offsets are 38 and 40

Would I have trouble with fitment? I have the sports package however, I'm considering some lowering springs such as the Eibach Prokit or H&R Sports.

Also, has anyone have experience with FK coilovers? He's selling those as well, but I'm doubting they will fit on a e90 since I beleive they're from the older bimmers.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Remenber that OEM 19" offset are 37 front and 39 rear, so you will definently not rub with the HREs.

+1 offset looks good- you could even run a spacer in the rear for a more aggressive stance.

Awesome guys!! Thanks for the responses.

What's the limit i can go on the rear? I heard it was 30, if i'm not mistaken. If that's the case, then a 10mm spacer would push out the wheel very nicely right?
