Non-sport suspension --> sport
I've searched endlessly on the forums and can't find the exact answer I'm looking for... although some have come close. So here goes:
We have an E90 330i non-sport with 19x8.5 F and 19x9.5 R rims (tires: 235/19/35 F and 265/30/19 R). Obviously it's riding a little high. It's also my wife's car (I have the pleasure of zipping around in a finely tuned E46 330Ci ), so needless to say she keeps it in auto all the time and drives it like a stereotypical lady. So I don't want to spend a lot of money on lowering it. I just want the same ride height as ZSP. Can I swap the non-sport springs and shocks for the ZSP ones? or even better can I simply swap the non-sport springs with ZSP springs? How much faster will the shock degradation be if I do this? My guess is that given how the car is driven and that it's really not an aggressive set up, we should be ok... although I could be wrong.. dunno. Many thanks for your input. |

As long as the suspension is made for the E9x platform, you can interchange shocks. E90/E92/E93 all use the same suspension.
I'm running a suspension that was made for an E92 on my E90 with H&R Sport springs. |
