Falken FK452's --> Tire Noise/Hum at 2500 miles, or Wheels Bearings Going Out??
I need some help. For those that have Falken FK452s, are you experiencing loud tire noise at low speeds? I'm getting a loud noise at low speeds around ~20mph that goes away as I accelerate. The sound comes back when braking and seems to peak at around 20mph. On very smooth paved surfaces like parking lots, the tire noise is really loud.
Tires in front are 235/35/19 and have about 2500 miles on them, and I checked but no bubbles, separation, or uneven wear. Pressure set at 34-36. Is this normal for FK452's, or are my wheel bearings on their way out? How can you tell if wheel bearing need to be replaced?

jack up the car and "wiggle" the wheels. If there is any play in the wheels (and it'll be very obvious), you're wheel bearings need to be replaced.

Thanks for all the input, I'll try wiggling the wheels tonight. I swear my previous Kumho Ecstas were way quieter than these Falkens.
I really hope it's not the bearings giving...I think they're covered under the CPO warranty, but I'd have to return my car back to stock height. Ugh.

i notice most uni-directional tires get noisy as that wear down. i had Toyo T1 r's and Falken Ziex 512, and Nitto 555's...all unidirectional and once they star to wear down they started to get pretty noisy. To the OP, try swapping out the original tires and wheel and take the car for and drive to see if it's still has the same noise.

The falken fk452's are a very loud tire. I had them on my E46, didn't get that many miles out of them. Switched to some pirelli pzero nero's and they are a much better tire. Quiet tire, good grip.
