Dealer discount on Factory ordered 535
While waiting for my 535 delivery (due August 16th), I've read a lot of posts regarding the price being paid for a 2011 F10. When I asked my dealer in Dallas for competetive pricing on my car being ordered he just shook his head. There are two good BMW dealers here in Dallas and it seems that neither of them have any intention of discounting their cars. Can others share their negotiation experiences on the 2011 F10's whether off the lot or built to order? Like they say - a deal is not a deal untill the deal is done.

well
we pay a shitload of money for a car here in The Netherlands. My 523 cost more then 70.000 euros. so maybe because of that. its maybe also because all my friends buy car at the same dealer so if he dont give us what we want, we just walk to a other dealer and he sells a car of 6 a7 less:P. What does that mean, exactly "a price for invoice"? Sorry, I don't understand.
---------------------------- I have two dealerships local to me; one said that he'd do $500 off, the other one said that the best they've done is $1500 off for really good return customers (such as myself). I did a bit better with them. Ordered my car Saturday! |

Seems there is a big difference in what UK dealers are offering. First sales rep I approached said no discount, then agreed to 4% after a little haggling. Shopping around I was offered 9% via an "online supplier" which ended up at a rather fabulous 12%. Very happy with that Forgot to add: perhaps the discount reflected that it is a high spec: Run-flat tyres Sport automatic transmission Alarm system (Thatcham 1) Tailgate operation, automatic Climate Comfort windscreen Reversing Assist camera Roof rails, High-gloss Shadowline Panoramic glass sunroof Sunblinds - rear side windows Floor mats, velour First Aid Kit & Triangle Ext. mirrors - folding, auto dimming Rear-view mirror, auto dimming Smokers package Air conditioning, automatic with four-zone control Ambient lighting Ski bag Headlight wash Park Distance Control (PDC), front and rear TV function Head-up Display Loudspeaker system - BMW Professional Rear seat entertainment - BMW Business USB interface Telephone USB audio interface Sun protection glass M Sport Package Sport seats, front Headlining, Anthracite 19" M Double-spoke style 351M alloy wheels M Sport suspension Oyster/Oyster Dakota Leather Imperial Blue Xirallic M Steering Wheel Exterior trim, High-gloss Shadowline M aerodynamic bodystyling Fineline Anthracite wood Media package - BMW Professional BMW Assist Navigation system-BMW Professional Multimedia BMW Assist online portal Bluetooth phone prep + telematics Voice Control Visibility package High-beam Assistant Xenon headlights Adaptive Headlights |

I arrived at a 13.5 % discount from the list price for my F11. It's a lease but not trough BMW Financial Services. My employer has a really good deal with BMW.
