Tire Size Question? Vendor Recommendations?
The OEM tire sizes on the E92/93 are quite limited so I am considering going to a different size combination for a better selection of tires.
If I use to a non-staggered setup, is there any problem running 18 x 8.5 wheels at all 4 corners with 235-40-18 tires? This would allow for rotating tires as they wear. What about a staggered setup using 18 x 8.5 in the front and 18 x 9.5 in the rear? What is the best combinatin of tire sizes to give a decent ride with no need for spacers and no rubbing? I am strongly leaning toward Toyo Proxes 4 tires as I have been very pleased with their perfomance on my MINI Cooper. They do not make a 255-35-18 so I need to find the best combination sizes if I go with a staggered setup. Thanks for any advice. I would like to find a vendor that can provide a set of wheels and tires balanced with the correct TPMS sensors and valve stems to be installed on my E93 when it arrives.
