DEPO Projector90 Headlights w/ upgraded AE
I just finished adding LED angel eye bulbs to the Depo Projector90 headlights and I'm pretty happy with the results. I wanted to share with anyone who has these or will in the future and is not thrilled with the existing AEs.
I ordered the bulbs from here http://www.superbrightleds.com - $3.49 x 16 Here is a quick pic off my phone, I'll add more pics shortly. |

Looks great but those are expensive bulbs! Any cheaper ones out there? Care to do a DIY on how to replace the bulbs and how hard it is, how long it took, tools used? Thanks!

Looks good man! Post up some more pics, outside, daytime, etc. Great find on upgrading the AEs on the Depos.

Anyone known of a source for the LED bulbs that are a different output than the 8000k or 3300k that superbightleds.com has? Looking for something around 4300k to 5000k or so, as I want it to match or be close to the 4300k xenon bulbs I have in my depo lights. Thanks!

Great job OP!!! Your are a stud for being the first for doing this! How hard was it? It doesn't look too hard to get the AE bulbs out of the housing for the halogen high beams, but looks like it could be pretty tough to replace the AE around the xenon low beam. How did you do it? How long did it take? Thanks!
And for an alternative for the AE you used, does anyone know if these bulbs would work? http://www.ledwholesalers.com/store/...&productId=338 |
