Little green light on E92 headlight switch?

I noticed on my test drive today a little green light flashed on the lower left side of the headlight switch. Does anyone know what this signifies?

If the headlights were set to the "auto" mode, maybe it's to signal that they swithed on? That's just a guess.

when the green lights flashing that means theres a problem w the lights.

green light on = lights on
green light flashing = ?

that little green light shouldn't be the warning light. I'm sure the infamous "exclamation mark in a triangle" would rear it's ugly head if here were a problem with the headlights.

Green light on light switch just on means your headlights are on

Green light on light switch blinking means there is a problem with your headlights

Green light on signal means go

Green Led flashing means malfunction Automatic Headlamps, not with the bulbs itself but the electronic system --> switch on the headlamps normally and have system checked.
