Auto Leveling Headlights not working

I dropped the car (2010 535i) on H&R Sports this weekend and today I noticed that the auto leveling headlights are moving left and right but not up and down.
They try to move up and down but hesitate and I hear a few clicks...then they just stay at the same level (which is lower than before).

I searched and noticed this is a common problem after suspension work due to the sensor being broken since it's mounted on the control arm (?) on the drivers side, or left unplugged, or it needs to be reset.

What do you guys think?
Anyone have experience with this?

Check the leveling rod on the control arm. Never heard of this problem before but it makes sense that the leveling rod on the control arm would be affected by the drop. If everything was functioning before I'd look at this as the culprit because of the drop

Also check the very top of headlights, there should be wires running across the top frame of where headlights are and there should be two plugs, one controls the auto levelers and the other controls the wiper fluid discharger, but not too sure if that's same location as the older model bmws' . Just my 02 cents, gl
