Last BMW software or not?

I have this code since 2-3 week:

2EF4 Map Thermostat

and now the dealers must reprogram my car...For now I have pre 29.2 (before feb 2008). My car is under warranty. And he don't wont to repair my car wirhout re-programming

my question:

is it ok to re-program...will I loose performance? or not? The jb3 2.0 work well with the last BMW program?

Your opinion..because my car push hard for now...I don't want lost performance

Thanks

I just got my car updated and i have to say it feels great. I dunno what i was on previously but my car was built in July 09 and this is the first time back at the dealer. When i took out my JB3 the car felt like a dog.....but somehow after the new update the car feels more lively.

this software install on N54 powered cars from 02/06 to 03/10 is based on a service action by BMW.

i would highly suggest you go with the updated software in case you have problems in the future.

the software include all the latest improvements develop by BMW -
my E92 is scheduled for tomorrow.. so i guess ill see too
