Opinions?? tire size on my wheels.
I have 245 in front, and 275 in the rear (19's).
I just got a hold of 2 245's. I need new tires ALL around, so obviously I still need 2 more tires, but I'm wondering if I should put these 245's in the rear... I have JKTech 19x9.5 in the rear. a 245 tire has a 9.6" tread width. It'll fit, but do you think it will look funny? not sure how to proceed. of course, I can always use them to replace the fronts. I'm going DOWN in size in the rear, for sure, but I was planning to go 265.... Matt |

The issue comes down to whether you want to rotate your tires or not. If that's not a huge deal to you, then go with 265's in the rear. Otherwise do a set of 245s so you can get a bit more mileage out of the tires.

I would not do it. I would save them for the front and then get 265 when you can.

I've found that we don't need 275's, we don't have the power. it's added weight, and traction at the wrong times, FOR ME. I like to drift around, and the 275 rears hinder that. i'm sure I won't miss the 275's in my normal aggressive driving if I go to a 265, but hopefully i will be able to oversteer better.
