Opinions?? tire size on my wheels.

I have 245 in front, and 275 in the rear (19's).

I just got a hold of 2 245's. I need new tires ALL around, so obviously I still need 2 more tires, but I'm wondering if I should put these 245's in the rear... I have JKTech 19x9.5 in the rear. a 245 tire has a 9.6" tread width. It'll fit, but do you think it will look funny? not sure how to proceed. of course, I can always use them to replace the fronts. I'm going DOWN in size in the rear, for sure, but I was planning to go 265....

The issue comes down to whether you want to rotate your tires or not. If that's not a huge deal to you, then go with 265's in the rear. Otherwise do a set of 245s so you can get a bit more mileage out of the tires.

I don't actually care at all about rotation.

It will have a "stretched" look. With 9.5's, I would stick with 265's.

I would not do it. I would save them for the front and then get 265 when you can.

I would put an appropriate size tire on it. 245 isnt even the size of the rears on the OEM 8.5 inch wide rims. I would get the 265's...

I agree with the above posters. Get the 265s in the rear. I don't like the stretched look at all.

I've found that we don't need 275's, we don't have the power. it's added weight, and traction at the wrong times, FOR ME. I like to drift around, and the 275 rears hinder that. i'm sure I won't miss the 275's in my normal aggressive driving if I go to a 265, but hopefully i will be able to oversteer better.

I understand your point of view but with 245 on 9.5 it will more expose to curb rushes.

Longtran has 9.5x19 and 245 tires. Doesn't look bad imo...
