GIAC Flash Loader Video!
So, I finally got my hands on a map switcher this morning?
I might be the last one to do some testing before it becomes available to the public, so it's extremely close. The flash loader is a really cool thing. As you can see in the video, it could be done on the fly. In the video, I do the following: -91/Meth (Stage 2+) map -Stock map -91 (Stage 2) Map -valet - back to 91/Meth map. The valet is crazy slow! For those who have gone into limp mode before, it feels like the same thing but you don't have any check engine lights going on in the dash. Enjoy the vid. Sorry it's a little shakey but I was trying to drive at the same time. BTW, It's not a good idea to switch maps while driving. I only did this to show the ease of the switching and that it "could" be done at any time there's power to the ECU.

Excellent news! Do you know if those who have a flashloader for their Audi/VW will be able to use that same flashloader for this application (with some sort of update to the flashloader, of course)?

That's awesome! Thanks for posting.
BTW, awesome driving. I don't know how you managed to drive manual while turning the steering wheel, going full throttle, map switching, and recording. |

Very nice indeed, this is a really great tool. Question, will the GIAC stage 2+ race map optimize with higher octane fuel and press more boost based on ignition timing?
