Wheels ET info

Hello!

I got an 120ia and was wondering whats the lowest ET anyone have put in your 1er without rubbing. Any info would be nice.

The originals (ET's)are quite much on the 40's zone, so anyone had gone to 30's?

I'll be putting these on my 1er as a tribute to BBS RC, these come in ET 35.

Hey,

in my german Forum someone got ET29 ... its possible, but´s a lot of work
thats his Photostory

Normaly (TÜV) it ends with ET38, max ET35. You have to choose a "small" Tyre like an Hankook S1 or V12

Hallo Marco and thanks for reply!

These wheels are 8 and 9" 17" both ET 35 I think the 9" rears are too much, so the 8" will do fine both way.

I have those BBS RC's (three sets ) too , but they have even smaller ET so I wont even try to put them on. But lovely wheels anyways...

Hi,

I would say 38, max 35. I got the starspoke 264 with 10&13mm spacers (Hankook v12). With loser Et youve got Problems with the TÜV ... They are very strickt here.

Hi, yep I understand you perfect. How's your ET's now?

I put 19" BBS LM's on my 330da (E90) with 8,5 in front ET32 and 10" ET25 in rear with no rubbing, so there is a lot space from original measurements.

3 series does not equal 1 series fitment.

Yes, we know. The point was was that when BMW uses approx ET40 in 19" wheels you can go ET25 without problems.

Original 17" are ET47
18"'s are ET47 and ET49 (Performance one's go to ET52 in the rear axel)

So you can go to aprox ET38 without modifications in 17".
