What do those wheels weigh? 35 lbs?
Interestingly, the October 2010 Bimmer magazine has an article where they drove several BMW models and rated them on sportiness. They said that the X6M (#4 out of 8 total) is remarkably capable.

I looked at BMWUSA and at pictures of a new X6 M that Bokke posted. It appears the rotors are hole free.

I don't get why people call 23" fail because of size.. I mean who cares about the extra 5lbs of rotational mass if you are driving an SUV anyways? You're not really chasing that extra performance with an SUV...
I think people need to realize that different cars are from different purposes and stop being a bitch about it |

I would be surprised if they 'only' weighed 35lbs.

I can confirm the X6M does not come with drilled rotors. They are MASSIVE, though - something like 395mm (15.5 inches!!) at the front!
It IS surprisingly capable. When my M3 was stock, the X6M was ahead up until 70mph or so. For something that weighs, what, 5200lbs, it does quite well in the twisty stuff, too. It's a fun car. The 23 inch wheels are not my cup of tea, though. They look cartoonish to me.

I think it's more because of the brand.
