Volk CE28N or BBS CH

(Sorry another poll) Since I have definiteley decided to go with 19's but don't want to spend nearly $6K for RS-GT's I have been racking my brain trying to decide between BBS CH and Volk CE28N on a Jet Black e90 335. Here are some pics of both. I couldn't find the Volks on a e90 so here are pics of them on a Aspec TL If someone could photoshop the Volks on a black e90 it would be greatly appreciated.

I say BBS CH's hands down , they just fit the car better. I might be biased though since i'm so damn tired of seeing Volk CE's on every other car in the s2000 crowd.

Volk are popular with japan import, BBS is popular with the Euro import. so in about a year you will to get tired of seeing the BBS on E90

BBS - while people say you see them all the time on BMW's, that may be on this post. Not in the real world with all the other BMWs out there. Especially the 19s.

I am personally partial to the CHs because I find them to be timeless and perfect on any vehicle. The volks are nice as well but I just prefer the CHs. If you need any pricing info on either the CHs or Volks, don't hesitate to give us a call or drop us an email

Nick-Please PM me pricing for 19" CH with 245/35 & 275/30 Michelin Pilot Sport All Season

All-I am kinda shocked the CH's seem to be winning by a landslide. I thought it would have been closer. I don't know why I am looking so hard for something else. I have liked the CH since I first saw them on a e90.

I guess you have a point there, but i've never been a fan of CE's, and after seeing them for so long I just hate that wheel. They are a good wheel though, very light and strong.

Don't be shocked, first, it's apples to oranges. A pic of an 18.8" rims all around on a Acura compared to 19" rims on a lowered BMW is just hopeless. Not blaming you, there are no pics of a 19" CE on an E90.

I will have mine on soon and will post pics. Don't get me wrong, people pitch tents over ASA, BBS, DPE, Iforged, HRE, Reps, JK Tech's, HP, and all that so my CE's can not compete, but I still prefer my rims, hands down. I've never heard the word "hate" refered to any other wheel here, even for the cheap ones until the CE came up.

Few rims are as light and strong as Volk. My purchases are not poll driven, but judging by this post, I would lose the "look at me" contests here on the board. Volks are a quality product regardless if they get love or not here on e90post.

I've seen the mesh type BBS' and such for so long too, longer than CE's on Japanese imports, but I don't hate those rims at all.

What do those Volks run, cost wise ?
Do they make a proper offset for the e90 ?
That's the issue. No one makes great wheels with a PROPER offset.

Volks typically list for $3K for a set. Many can get a discount on them.

"Proper" offset for the e90 is not an issue, waiting for them to be made, then imported from Japan is.
