Difference between aftermarket and original white LED AE ?

Does anyone know what is different between original new BMW LED Angel eyes and aftermarket LED Angel Eyes (LUX , AiB...) ? If they are similar, would be possible to install original BMW white LED Angel eyes to pre LCI E92 ?

They new ones have different headlight housing i believe.

The newer E92 LCI headlamps have been redesigned so the corona rings can distribute light evenly (similar to the E90 pre-LCIs) and now utilizes an LED setup instead of the H8 halogen bulb.

And no it's not possible to install it on your pre-LCI e92. The Lux H8 or Angel iBright would be your closest option

Are the e90's the same bc when I replaced mine with lux's it was a halogen bulb not a led ....
