Angel eye bulbs - direct replacement question

First, yes, I've searched and can't find a conclusive answer. I'd like to upgrade my angels to a less yellow color - pure white. I'm not trying to make them super bright since I don't plan to use them as DRLs. All I can find are $150 LED kits which look great but that's a little more than I expected to spend to change a bulb color. Is there no way to just replace the existing bulb (which I see is a 12082) with a super white 12082?

Sorry if this is a newbie question but like I said I couldn't find anything about it so I'm guessing that means the answer is no. BTW this is for an 07 sedan. Thanks.

You can go with the MTEC E90 LED angel eye units if you want a whiter output

We offer our WeissLicht LED bulb solution at a good price, which is also 100% PNP, with no errors.

I was going to order the GP Thunder V2s since I see a lot of positive reviews on them, so I called E92-Lighting to be sure I'm getting the right thing. They told me my 2007 335i sedan has LEDs from the factory so I have to replace them with LED (he said coupes however have halogens). Weird.

So nevermind the original question, seems it doesn't even apply. Now to decide between Weisslicht, Mtec, etc.

Weischlight (carried by Bimmian and JLevi) is my advice for Bi-Xenon Adaptive Headlights from 2006 on, the price for the quality is great.

MTEC v2.1's are fully plug and play and they are LED based, which is all the pre-lci E90's can use

i wouldn't suggest getting just GP thunder bulbs (i recently bought GP thunder 7500k's) because they're pretty weak. of course, I have the coupe's halogens
