Q: How to wrap vinyl fabric around trim????

Hey any guys experienced in wrapping vinyl fabric around their trim?

I have that mohagany loooking trim on desert tan leather.

I love the leather hate the trim. Looking to wrap it with black vinyl like this

a couple yards of that would do it.. and back on tan will be sexyyy..

What do you guys think?? or how can it be done?
