Sick car man, but don't kill yourself. If your parents bought you that car they obviously love you very much.
Again, nice ride! I can't wait to be able to run map 7! |

yea i kno that lane switch wasn't the brightest idea but i kinda acted in the moment. I'm probably not as good of a driver as i think I am but I raced Go karts from 8-15 when my mom bought me a GTO after my dad passed. Saved up and traded it in for 18k and just paid the difference which was 8k and I've been addicted to putting all my money into it.

Well be careful lil man. The last time a young guy posted about his m5 he ended up dying with all his friends....
40 minutes after his last post on m5boards he was gone.. Life is precious bro. Think about it. http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...ts-m-mode.html http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/01/26/air...ash/index.html http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...-5-killed.html

You should be doing much better than that given your mods and the GTO's mods. I came from a 6 speed 2006 GTO btw so I know what a 335i w/ JB3 can do and what a 6.0 GTO is capable of. You should be pulling much harder...you might have a leak.

I apologize let me edit the post. That is the reasoning for all the negative things being said, but hey i set myself up for it. Because if I was in my mid 20's then the comments would be more of nice vid.

Thats very true, im not hating at all. I mentioned it cause it gives the "show off" vib to most ppls. Anyways, I figured with your mods it would be no competition?

I had straight pipes (cats were still in), and tires. I took it to the track BONE stock 3 months after I got it, and 3 months after I learned to drive manual (yea I learned when I drove the car home from the dealer... lol) and ran an easy 13.3 at 108mph. Headers add a lot on the GTO (20whp from what I remember) then after that would be cams. The GTO wouldn't benefit much from bolt ons. Anyway, I took my E93 335i to the track running an intake, map 7 and 100 octane and got consistent 13.1 runs (3 back to back actually). The weight of the car at the track was 4,100 with me and half a tank in it. (I'm only 140lbs). So since your 335 is nearly 500lbs lighter, and you have more mods and a better tune (I was running JB3 1.3), you should be doing easy 12.5 on 93 octane. This means that from a 40-130mph pull, you should be putting 3 cars on that GTO. That's just an estimate based on my experience with both cars.
