Question Removed JB+ car didn't loose the kick. WTF?

I was getting some service work done and was planning a 3,000 mile trip in the 335i and decided to uninstall the JB + (Default setting) for better mileage.

As soon as I removed it I did a few WOT runs and didn't notice any power loss. Drove across the country over a few days and have been back. Its been 2 weeks without the JB+ and I still haven't noticed power loss. My Butt dyno couldn't be that wrong could it? I notice a BIG difference after installing it and I would definitely feel the stock power compared to a jb+ car. Drove a friends stock 335i and mine still felt faster!

Any thoughts?

Just shows that people imagine gains in the first place. Butt dyno ftw. You've probably misinstalled it since the beginning.

I'm sure errors would pop up if that was the case. Car has been to the dealer for spark plugs, and other stuff since the removal and they didn't say anything.

Either way its a placebo

I've noticed that when i pulled my JB+ off then my power seemed to drop significantly then slowly return to how i remember it stock (as the ECU relearns i guess).

Its impossible to install a JB+ incorrectly. Literally impossible.

I believe the only way to find out for sure is in a closed, safe, and legal environment with another car. Then re-install the jb+ and try a few days later. Then you'll see the difference

maybe you had a JB (-) and it gave you negative power, so when you took it off you actually went back to stock power which felt better and still very powerful lol

Thats the reaction most get I can assure everybody the JB+ might be a simple, inexpensive tune but it can hold its own
