Quick JB3 Question, please help!

Hey, I know this in the wrong section but i'm having trouble uninstalling my JB3 (my first time doing it). I have to be at work in like an hour and I can't get the sliders to slide back in after the JB3 is out. I've watched the video over and over again but they refuse to push back in. Is there something i'm missing?? Thanks in advance!

I believe you're talking about the plugs that have the slider clips on them, so my recommendation is make sure you have the plugs oriented correctly, and make sure the sliders are in the correct position before attempting to plug back into the DME. The larger (left) of the two connector plugs is more of a pain and i'd install that one first.

Just make sure you don't break the sliders...you can't order replacements.

Garage List
use a screw driver and push the tabs so it clips in.

ugh im such an idiot, I just had them connected in the wrong outlets. However the clip that you push in to get the connectors out came off so the connectors just slide in and out with out the clip having to be pushed in. Is this ok? The main slider seems to hold them in not to mention they're actually plugged in to something so they shouldn't slide around....

Once you lock the slider in they won't move but just make sure the subconnectors are all the way in before seating them onto the ECU or you might bend some pins.
