Bridgestone's RFT/'06 BMW 325i

Very loud rotation noise from front tires since delivery (and I know loud, I also drive a GT3 on Michigan highways). Now at 8K miles, cupping more on the inside than outside tread. Saw a Bridgestone dealer in Bay City, and he said to raise the front tire pressure to about 33psi from 29psi, and rotate front to back. The rear EL42's (35psi) looked good after 8K miles. They also said, BMW's E90 suspension setup may promote and aggravate the aforesaid RFT wear issues. BMW NA, dealers and Bridgestone have been mute about owner complaints (refer to NHTSA) regarding this tire. I hope this Turanza does not mutate into another Firestone/Ford Explorer mess.

Been there done that with the tires. Check for threads on this site. Noise is probably the beginning stages of feathering or cupping. Bridgestone replaced my tires after BMW was of no assistance. Yes, you need to step up the tire pressure and rotate. My tires started the noise around 17-18K. Bridgestone replaced them at 22K. Now with new tires and realignment the car feels great but I am monitoring the tires carefully and I check the tire pressure once a week keeping the fronts at 32/33 lbs. and the rears at 38/39 lbs. Bridgestone will rotate for me at 5-6K miles.

Bridgestone Turanza RFT tires were changed at 9100 miles due cupping and feathering. Dealership replaced with Pirelli Euforia V rated tires. These Pirelli's lasted only 1200 miles. The Euforia's cupped as well. Dealership changed the Pirelli's back to Bridgestone. So far (put about 100 miles) the Bridgestone seem to be ok.

I have fairly conservative driving style.
