~15K mile oil service

I'm coming up for an oil service (showing service due in 1200miles) and I'm at almost 13K miles right now. I looked through the manual and the service booklet but it doesnt say what needs to be done. Oil,filter of course, but does the microfilter and air filter need to be replaced as well? Car was built in 06/09.

For those who did their service, how much did you end up paying? Is there any software update needed to be done? I intend on buying the oil at AAFES (10W60 Castrol) and bring it with me. If it's only an oil/filter change then I might just do it myself at the Auto Hobby shop and reset the counter.

you should have the yearly maintenance done at the dealership. they do check everything and most importantly it gets recorded in their maintenance log. If you decide to sell it down the road or have it CPO'd, this would help. I certainly wouldn't buy a sports car without all documented factory recommended maintenance.

it won't be too much either as long as you bring in your own oil.

I want to have it done at the dealership. I just need to know what exactly needs to be changed/replaced. Long story short, I took my wife X3 for Inspection 1 and they did more than needed without even first contacting me. They told me one thing, but did the other and I ended up paying more. Apparently services are different between Germany and US. This is Germany, customer service is not priority here. If the work is performed (even without consent) customer must pay. I want to avoid that this time.
