some parts
Just ordered my M Style (ZHP) Weighted Short Shift Knob! Second official mod, preceded by style 189 wheels. I'm sure at some point in the future, I'll need a short shift kit too.
Does anybody know exactly what this part buys us pre '09 Navi users? PK09IDRIVE* $450.00 OEM BMW 2009 iDrive Upgrade Kit for E90/92/93 M3's. Kit includes 2009 M3 center console trim and iDrive controler. I recently had a '10 328 loaner w/Navi. The new interface is better than what I have in my '07 335. The above item includes the I-Drive wheel with separate buttons for Telephone, Nav, CD, Radio, etc all in the new style enclosure. However, in the '10 328 Navi, the software was obviously different as well. I wonder whether the above item, along with a new software download from the dealer would fully convert my '07 navi to the newer look and feel and GUI interface? If so, it would certainly IMHO be worth the $450 price tag. -Kevin |

No, the new iDrive system uses completely different hardware.
