Item Interest

Both are in excellent condition and were kept in protective cases since new. The 3G is 2 years old and the 3GS is only 2 months old. Both are running iOS 4 and have been restored to their factory settings. I will include a matte black protective case for each phone as well as the original packaging and accessories.
In the pictures below, the 3G is on the top and the 3GS is on the bottom.

Asking $200 for the 3G and $300 for the 3GS. Shipping is on me. Any questions, let me know.

yeah man, at those prices you arent gonna sell them now that the iphone 4 is out. Especially when the new ones are the same price or less.

If you unlock them, you will be able to sell them for asking price no problem. Especially on Ebay.

Prices dropped sharply in the last month...check out gazelle.com...they post wholesale level prices, but its a good indicator of iPhone prices in the current marketplace.

An 8GB 3GS without a contract currently sells for $499 and has half the memory of mine. The numbers I believe you are referring to are subsidized and require a 2 year commitment from the buyer. Not a good comparison.

Thanks. I'm leaving that up to the buyer. I don't want to be held responsible for any complications caused by the jailbreak / unlock. I would rather have the peace of mind in knowing that I sold the device in perfect working order, as received from Apple.

I think eBay is a much better indicator. Gazelle is able to make money off of your device after purchasing it, so their prices are going to be low. Since both devices are in excellent condition, the 3GS being almost new, I think these prices are fair. Not to mention I paid $40 for each of the cases that I'm including for free.

would you happen to know if both are able to be unlocked? I don't know all the details behind the unlocking process. if anyone could chime in, that would be great.

Both can be jailbroken and unlocked.

Anything between 04.26.08 - 05.13.04. I believe that 05.13.04 is the latest on the 3G/S.
