Help Us Develop Predator ICE OEM Upgrade Angel Eyes

Umnitza is looking to develop the E90/1/2/3 angel eyes similar to the Predator ICE module available for other car models that we are already selling for (E39, E60, E65, etc.). While we don't do any of the development work, we would like to assist the community and ourselves by accepting 2 members as the primary test bed (one coupe and one sedan).

You will need to sign a waiver of responsibility (although the only thing being done is the headlight removed and looked at for ideas). While it's easy to go out and buy a light, it's important that if the current Predator ICE can be adapted, we may be able to have a car, with photos, already completed on the first try.

If you are interested, please email your application to info@jlevisw.com and we'll be happy to coordinate a time within the next 2-3 weeks (Umnitza is redeveloping a double output Predator ICE version and this will help coincide with this timing).

Here are some photos of Predator ICE that you guys may not be aware of...

Thanks!
JL

i have looked up and down in every crack of this damn headlight and i doubt the e90 will ever have bright lights like the others without costing an arm and a leg. the e92 on the other hand might have something, but i do not have a spare headlight to mess with.

Why does a test car need to sign a waiver of responsibility?

Shouldn't you guys be responsible for the work you are doing....thats how most normal shops operate right?

+1

I dont see how you could get these any brighter then PIAA, LUX, or even BREX. not unless you open the headlight, and thats not easy

your best bet - build an LED Kit. PM me if you want more info.

you must be kidding.

what land do you live in? If you are a guineau pig in return for being the test bed, and first and the only and the one that others look up to, you have to accept some responsibility for providing the car.

it's totally acceptable for them to waive that they are using your car as a test bed. if you don't want to, don't show up.

Actually I work in the automotive industry

If we damage something on someones car we take full responsibility for it.

"I work in the automotive industry"
that could be said for about oh....30M people. so what?
given your blanket statement, i'm going to assume you are doing some sort of "service" work - repair, install, whatever.

well, guess what, you better take responsibility for the work you do and you better damned well tell us when we take our cars there that you will take responsibility. DUH!

but when you are the one that comes to prototyping, you bring the car, it's new, never been done and chances are a clip might get broken booohooooooohoooo but unless something drastic is done to the car like oh, it catches on fire, i don't see how any R&D can fall under servicing the car as SOP.

glad you care for your customers though:rocks:

I'm a sales manager

And if something small like a clip gets broken...Why would the person working on the car not take responsibility for it?

so you're telling me no one at your dealership would ever hide a minor thing like a clip being broken...come on....many of us were born at night, but it wasn't last night.

i guess you don't understand the distinction between r&d and general and standard servicing.

we're not talking about burning a car down, we're talking a clip. there are gradations. if you scratch up the back of the headlight opening something and no one will ever see....if a tree falls in the forest does it really fall if no one saw it?

all I know is my sedan is not in the running, so I don't care one way or the other, i called them already and they said they'd already figured out the sedan, but get real dude.

They just need to pop the bumper off on one side if it's a coupe and pull the headlights out for 10 minutes. They'll put it back together like it was never touched AND they want you to look on. it will take 30 minutes.

Thanks
