Run-Flats = Twitchy at high speed?

My 325i is equipped with the standard run-flats (16").

I've noticed that once you get above around 95 MPH, the steering starts becoming a little twitchy. Anyone else having the same issue?

I've heard a lot about run-flat tires in general being subpar at high speed.

Another thing... As I'm driving along, I often hear this whirring noise coming from what seems to be the wheel wells. I used to think it was just the engine and my ears playing tricks, but today I was revving the engine as I was moving along, and the noise is constant - not from the engine.

I remember having a similar problem before in my A4, turned out to be bad bearings. The Bimmer's only at 15K miles, could it be a similar issue?

At 15,000 miles you better check your tires because the RFTs aren't rated for much anything more than 15,000 miles. Check to see if wear bars are showing. I recommend you pick up a set of Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's. At 130MPH they are about as stable as it's going to get, plus very little tire noise and they are extremely comfortable in ride compared to the RFTs.

I spent quite some time on run flats in speeds in excess of 120mph, right to 155mph and the tires felt great, no different. Maybe you've got a balancing or alignment issue?
