Lightbulb What did you want to be when you were a kid?

Did you follow through?

You always hear actors/musicians, etc. saying in interviews that they "knew it's what they wanted to do since they were a kid." I always wonder if they are just playing it up for the camera, or if they really believe that.

The earliest job that I can remember wanting was to be a paleontologist. Probobly not too original since I think most all young boys go through a crazy dinosaur phase at one point or another.

These days my job doesn't really even have a description. Though, there are certainly times when I think maybe I would have been better off in Montana with a paint brush in my hand dusting off bones.

I thought about the paleontology thing. I also really wanted to be an astronaut, then a test pilot in the Chair Force....

I wanted to be a car (my parents had to hold me back from in the stroller b/c they said I kept wanting to touch the wheels). I was fascinated by cars, wheels, planes, trucks, etc as a child. Fucking loved the cosie coop.
Moved on to Zoo Keeper phase, later focused in on dog trainer (I like dogs)
Dressed up like one during one halloween

Got somewhat serious, decided I wanted to be a doctor. . .

This lasted throughout high school (which I did really well in). Went to college, discovered how terrible I was at math, and my grades slumped.

Now I'm in college trying to get shit together and hopefully get in to law school.

I was obsessed with cars/trucks at an early age too...apparently I would play with cars and just watch the wheels roll back and forth, my first word was "smokestack" as in on a semi truck

I wanted to name my little brother "big truck." Apparently I really didn't want a brother, I instead would have preferred a truck of some kind.

- airforce pilot

- Motorcycle racer

Couldn't pursue being a pilot due to constant ear porblems. I'm 18 and settled for riding motorcycles. Ofcourse riding motorcycles is not my career.

HAHA awesome (in a way)...Alll I remember from my younger sister (by 3 years) being born is playing with the trucks in the waiting room...my Gma was babysitting me and she always tells the story "I asked if you wanted to see her" and I said "No I'm playing with these trucks"

An astronaut. No I didn't follow through with it. I kinda lost interest in it and it just slipped away.

same here! i remember in like kindergarten how i always said i want to be an astronaut and it continued for sometime but then eventually some friends started to scare me about accidents that happen and stuff.... bastards hahaha. then i remember in 6th grade i wanted to be part of the navy seals because i would watch that navy seals show on the discovery channel. anyone else used to watch that? haha i always thought they were so badass. then it went to business but for the wrong reasons, and now im hoping to be a doctor! it really has, deep down, always been something that i've always wanted to do as i have a great interest in the field of medicine and have always secretly wanted to be a doctor. lets hope it happens!
