19" or 20" rims on E92?
Im about to purchase some rims, but I am still confused whether to get 19s or 20s. I have seen pictures of 2 E92's with 20s and one of them looks like rollerskates, but the pics below look good. What do you guys think would be best? Thanks

20s will tarnish the sporty nature of the car too much IMO, 19s are as far as I'd go (went). I think they generally look better, too.

see im wondering the same thing as him... i like 20s and it feels good to say u have 20s on ur coupe... but not to sure if they will mess the ride quality or if the would look ridiculous so i would like to see more pics of 20's compared side by side with the 19's.

i was leaning towards 20s but after seeing some of the pics of 20s, im leaning more towards 19s now, cause I think the 20s just might be a lil too big. I saw a 6 series with 20s and it looked real nice, the e92 is a lot smaller than a 6 series, so I think 19s should be the way to go.
i agree with arcrox that 20s takes away the sporty look |

what do i do about the spring situations, since springs already have a certain height on them, how would i know what springs to get in order to cover the gap of the 19s?
what tires are you guys using for your 19s? my car is a lease, so I was not sure if I wanted to change the springs on it, but would the gap be really noticable with the 19s? |

For 20's, many people will tell you its way too big for a 3 series. If you ever get to drive a 3 series with 19's and compare it to a similar car on 20's, im sure you will be able to feel the difference in performance (and thats just through normal daily driving). 19's totally feel fine on the car.

I would go with 19s. 235s and 275s. 245s in the front have a .25 bigger diameter than the 275s. Not a big deal ... you could get away with 245s. You wont be able to see it and would hardy make a difference in handling.

You got bad popp. Use the calculator above. You will see that the diameter of the 235 35 19 and 275 30 19 are the same. 245s will be bigger. Plug in the numbers.
