E46 wheels fit E92

I have destroyed my M5 wheels on 335Ci on todays trip, so I have tried to put E46 wheels on it. I have seen many discussions if they fit or not, some say yes, some no... I was curious, so I have tried it myself And they fit without any problems, it is really close, but no contact even when driving on the limit.

I dont if it is nice or not, but it works... These are E46 330Cd M-P 18". I dont know the precise offset...

Look at some quick night shots...

That is one nice and CLEAN garage. Wish I had a place like that to park my 335. But those wheels actually complement the car well!

E46 wheels have a higher numerical offset. So if put onto an E90, the wheels will sit in too far in the wheel well. Notice the original poster's pics. You need spacers or the proper offset.
