For eBay, to save money, just use HTML. I am attaching my blackberry HTML layout for your consideration. In eBay click the HTML tab and paste it--just edit as you see fit. It's a pretty simple clean-cut layout with headers and bullet points.

Craigslist accepts HTML also. Just copy and paste what you edited for eBay to Craigslist. Very simple

Personally, I'd do Craigslist for a week before going to eBay. Craigslist is free. eBay charges a listing fee + takes 9% off your final sale price.
