325i Pin Hole Leak in Wheel, RFT fine

My RFT was leaking about 5 lbs. per week. Brought it to Goodyear who fixes RFT and after removing the tire and examining the tire and valve, found the tire was fine, but a small pinhole leak in the wheel. This should be covered by warranty and the car is going to the dealer next week for the replacement or repair. Has anyone else experienced this type of defect?

My father has had this problem with one of the wheels on his e60 530i...quite an odd defect. He got a new wheel covered under warranty.

i have seen this a few times. but mostly with oem wheels that were striped and cromed. both times they were 645i wheels...and man what a pain in the but it was to find those leaks.
