will these wheels sit flush...
http://www.**********s.com/product.asp?pf_id=AT279
I have always loved the look of bbs lm's, but i would not be willing to shell out the dough for the real things... Will these sit flush with the fender of the e90 or would one need spacers? Will 275's fit on the 18x9 rears? Thanks for the help |

I think 275 are a little too wide for 9" wheel, I would go with 255 or 265. The reas are ET 38 so they will not sit flush.

i previously had a 2006 e90 and had a 9.5 wheel with 275/30/19 with 15mm rogue engineering spacer installed giving me a net offset of 23 and never rubbed.. even with a loaded truck and 2 people in the back. If your wheel is only 9 inches then 18mm spacer would be best

275's wont look good on a 9" wheel. The 18" 5 series sport wheels are 18x9 rear with 275's and its to much. But it looks ok on a 5 series cause the car is bigger. On a e90 go with the 265's

would def work.. i would go with 18mm spacers for 9" wheel. Remember i had 275's with a 9.5" wheel with 38 offset and a 15mm spacer. Use the calculator above my 9.5" wheel extended out toward wheelwell 27mm from stock wheels. With 9" wheel adding a 18mm spacer it will extend 23mm toward wheelwell. So mine was even more flush and no rubbing at all. Unless you are lowering it. I had the stock sport suspension |

yea i'm stupid. I kept thinking 15mm spacer on a 9.5", not a 9". 9" will definitely work. 18mm is getting kind of high though, even though it is ideal.

Trust me if u want it flush go with 18mm. Get a ruler and look how much 3mm is.. Its nothing...so your better off going with it. I have an e92 335with the same setup. I used the same wheels and spacers but the e92 isnt as roomy in the back and i rub on big dips..but nothing major. I had my e90 trunk full of luggage even with 2 people in the back and never rubbed |

also... i gave my brother my e90 and he put the OEM 18" m3 wheels on. The rear is 18x9 with a 27mm offset. After we installed them they still werent flush. Added 10mm spacers and it looks perfect Extending 26mm outward from the stock wheels. So if you add at 18mm spacer to a 38 offset rim your still 3mm short of what my brother is running now.

Be very careful when plus sizing try to keep the wheels overall diameter as close as possible . If not you will have DSC / DTC issues especially on the XI models. I'm saying this because i made that mistake. I eventually had to settle with 225/40 F and 255/35 R in order to keep the DSC/DTC and speed ometer in sync.
