Introduction
Hey Guys!
I've been reading these boards for a couple of months already and finally decided to join up. I'm 24 a Financial Consultant & Mortgage banker and currently own a 2005 Mercedes-Benz C230 Sport Sedan w/ 6 Spd Manual. As a matter of fact i am quite tired of my current car not because of looks, but the lack of power i'm used to. Before the Benz i used to own a Subaru WRX which was tuned by Vishnu. Now that thing was monster but just lacked the refinement of a more expensive vehicle. Also due to client meetings etc. relating to my work I needed something a little more "classy" and established. I'm a very big automotive enthusiast, and have been racing on the road courses since i was 16. Anyhow, I've been really interested in the 335Ci not only due to the Power and it's endless tunability (is that a word?), but also it's looks. I think this car is georgous, contrary to some people I know which despise the tail end. I'm looking to purchase one very soon here as soon as I figure out what i'm going to do with the Benz. Either Sell it, or take a big hit on it and trade it in! The dealers i've been to are offering $20k to trade the car, and i owe $24,000 I'm not sure i'm ready to accept a $4k hit yet. Well, am I rambling yet? ok so Hello to all of you! I'm looking forward to getting to know you and participating on these bitchin boards. TALK TO YOU SOON! -Danny Mardikian |

I think the 335 coupe will be good for you, having the best of both worlds... The speed of the WRX and the refinement and class.. Welcome...

Welcome and good luck!!! If you get the 335i Coupe, I guess you may be calling Shiv Vishnu (especially since you've already had experience w/ his products) to add the Xede, huh? That's what a lot of us are doing!!!

Welcome! Sell your car on your own! Buy 335i 4 doors since you meet with people/have meetings, especially if they are clients

I think you will have time to sell your car because most likely, the 335i you want would have to be ordered. That would take about 8weeks so in the mean time, you can put it on craiglist or autotrader.com

we traded a 2005 c230 for the 335i. we got 21k for it, but the dealer said that a private sale would bring about 24k. so id say try that first. good luck!

I think what you need is a 335 sedan. You said your job involve clients. Well, a four doors will make your clients very happy (that is if you need to haul 2+ clients at a time). welcome to e90post.

I'm with everyone else, a Sedan would be more suited to client stuff. The coupe can be rather cosy in the back. Go check it out at the dealership. The sedan is slightly cheaper too.
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your soon to be new car. If your life situation permits European delivery you can save on the cost of the car and get in a great vacation. Just don't plan to come out on top overall - the weak dollar means EU is $$$.
