CA Fob Questions
So I found out yesterday that my car was on the boat and I wanted to get her a little present for when she gets here. I got CA with the car and my idea was to make an Altoids tin with a spot for the fob since I always have gum/mints with me and putting the fob in with them keeps less things in my pockets. See pic below.
My questions are: 1) What are the deminsions of the fob, will it fit upright in the tin? 2) Will the transmitter/RFID work through the tin? The metal is reasonably thin but even tin foil will block some frequencies. Could anyone try this? Thanks is advance.

Do you really always keep a 2oz can of altoids in your pocket? I think if you're trying to have less stuff in your pocket, maybe ditch the altoids instead of putting your key FOB in the tin? Just a thought.

If I were really geeky, I'd carry the CA fob on a lanyard. OR, buy a bunch of them (which would cost thousands) and sew one into the lining of each of my coats. Or into the heels of all of my shoes. Now that would be cool.

^ hahaha...i bet you could find a plastic surgeon to surgically imbed it into your skin. Then you would only need one...battery changing would be a bitch tho.

Your fob is going to be covered up in white dust.
But that fresh smell...

Let me get this straight. You want to keep your FOB in the altoid can permanently so when you leave the car your FOB will be in the can inside the car?????? Or did you just want to keep your FOB in the altoid can only after you get in and take it out of the can when you leave your car? ??? WTH!
