Question Servicing question

Hey guys,
Things are great. I have been driving my new E90 like a baby being so soft and shifting gears at low revs.. (You know, the whole new car treatment )
I am trying to get a general idea of servicing costs for a 2008 328xi at the dealership. Would you advice a BMW dealership or a european auto service place in general. I always take my SLK to an MB dealership and there is an "A" service every 10000 miles (Oil change, filters, fluids, brake checks etc..). Costs about $250 without any parts replacements. Is there any thing like that for the BMW too ?

Cheers,
Bharath

What he said.

Your car has standard maintenance (oil changes, wipers, etc) included until the warranty runs out (4 years, 50,000 miles).

Ianelli Auto on the west side of Cleveland. I used them until I left Cleveland for DC. Good shop.

Also BMW's Maintenance plan is a joke IMHO. Most dealers are stingy as hell and won't service squat. Oil/ Filter is once a year, pads are sometimes once a warranty, etc. Make sure that you do regular maintenance yourself outside of the dealer.

Oh yeah? We lived in Bay and that's pretty close to North Olmstead and getting to Ianelli was pretty easy. The only drawback is that the loaners are older, high mileage Volvos. I like Volvo and don't care about loaners but some people do. I was just happy an indy shop was providing loaners! I would usually wait for the car anyway so it didn't matter.

Good luck.
