New user and E90 owner

Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello! I take delivery of a '07 328i this Friday, so I'm getting pretty anxious! Saphire Graphite in a manual tranny w/ Sports Package.

I have a bunch of questions regarding mods but I'll post them in their respective areas. I come from tuning Japanese cars, so European power is a bit different in terms of parts and brands. Actually I got out of modding cars when the first Fast and Furious movie came out. It just got too commercialized for me. But I'm back!! Just looking to do some simple mods like blacklines and angel eyes....for now.

Anyone have some good sites for me to look at while I wait to pick my car up?

Welcome and congrats on the car! No need to go anywhere else - you will find all you need to know about the E92 here.

+1 re: fast and furious. I loved messing with my Subaru, but too many distastefully modded cars have led me to the conclusion that subtle mods are best.

Thanks for the welcome. I already have questions about removing the CDV and if it's worth it. Luckily my friend is a technician at BMW and has been for over 5 years, so I might ask him for some advice too.

Yea F&F was lame when it came out. I'm kinda glad i got out of it when i did. Thought it was about time anyways. My brother and I were in it since the beginning...like 1991 when NO parts were developed. Hahaha i still remember Fitapaldi (sp) wheels and cutting or clamping the springs. Ouch!

From the East Bay in Alameda, but spend most of my time in S. SF since that's where I work. Hey do we have meets here in the Bay Area? Just wondering if some bay area people ever get together.

Welcome to the forum!

Check out the local (Calf.) section for some gathering ideas:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=43

The Fast & Furious series commercialized, humiliated, then filtered out most of the rice rockers. Now the true enthusiasts remain. Cars like the WRX, STI, EVO, 350Z, etc. have true potential, while classics like the RX7's, Supra, etc. are becoming affordable in the used car market.
