Matte White Badge

Hey has anyone tried painting their badge a matte white? Whats everyones opinion on this?
I see a ton of people doing matte black or gloss black but I was wondering if anyone has pics of matte white? preferably on an alpine white car?
Thanks!

I think that will blend in too much...don't think you should do it.

i think it will look too invisible. the reason people paint it a darker color is so it stands out with a contrast.

What about people that have matte black badges on a jet black car?
I saw that on a c63 yesterday and thought the subtle change looked good. Is matte white on alpine white different?

honestly I think matte black emblems on Jet Black cars look stupid...it does not go well together unless you are going for that played out "murdered" look...

If you're gonna make it blend in with the body color, might as well debadge IMO.

+1 I think Alpine White needs some contrast.

Any idea how this badge was done? I know their is vinyl overlays for the blue/white - but this looks to be either painted or vinyl wrapped completely minus the silver 'crosshairs' and the words BMW.

I have changed my 335i badge to a gloss white instead of chrome. Its like a subtle debadge but lets everyone know the car is modded a little bit

Can you upload a pic? I'd love to see that.
