Read a lot about DMS and only heard good things.

Picking my E92 335D up in a couple of hours

Would be very interested in your feedback if you get it done

The DMSed 535D boys rave about it.

Their website says 0-60 5.5 and 0-100 13.4 for the re-mapped 335D. Doesn't that seem a little slow for a car with that much power?

Those look like the numbers for the 535D, don't think they've published numbers for the 335D yet.

Numbers alone don't tell the whole story. With that torque the in-gear acceleration times will be amazing without trying. Much more relevant than foot-to-the-boards 0-100mph times.

I've read a lot of feedback from 535D owners, one with an Aston Martin Vantage (V12) who could only just keep up with his wife in the BMW (DMS 535D) - on A and B roads he said he was revving it out and using the whole power range only to find his wife hadn't even been trying. He said that his Aston would only really stand a cahnce above 130mph.

You can find a lot of feedback from actual 535D boys here (do a search for 535D) :

0-100mph in a re-mapped 335d anywhere mid to high 11's.

Do 13.2-13.3 1/4miles at 106mph.

But thats in Uk, In the US they should run quicker, just like your 335i's do compared to ours.

There is quite a good movie on youtube where you can see how the tuned 335d compares to the m3 and a tuned 335i. around 3:20 you can see the 335i in action!

we ordered a 335d yesterday, in a few months we will see how it compares to the 335i!

There's also http://www.birdsauto.com/ who are resellers of the Hartge remap (335 hp). Somewhat more expensive (around 1370 GBP). They have a garage in the vicinity of Heathrow. They're also the worldwide distributor for Quaife differentials - so if you're thinking of better traction, you might give them a call.
