sighs. another victim.

Just the other day I decided to go jogging with another friend and my brother…as we finally got back, my brother pointed towards my car and told me to look:

I have no idea how or when it even happened...but it's not cool
sighs...have no idea what I'm going to do..suggestions anyone?

Sorry for that nasty situation.

I would take it to local bodyshop.

Won't cost you so much since you have white color.

I also would try to find any CCTV arond that area.

You probly have some chance to find the assh*le who did that.

Depends on how much of a perfectionist you are. Short of replacing it, try to sand off (gently) the rough spots and then (a) apply touch up paint you can get from dealer or (b) go to a shop to spray paint the area (will look better but not perfect).

Rember - it sucks but it is only the bumper.

By the looks of it, someone with a fairly low bumper pulled out of a parking spot and misjudged...

That pattern bumper is only used on a few vehicles... mitsubishi is the most common. The 90's model Eclipse had a groved bumper with 4? ridges.. maybe 5. The other vehicle could be the mitsubishi rodeo, 90's model, but it would have to be 2wd due to the height of the marks. If that happened in a parking garage near your residence, I would scout the vehicles in there to see if anyone has white paint on their front left bumper. It can't be on their right side because they would have dragged their entire vehicle side across the corner on your bumper. They could not have did it with their back bumper or they would have dragged their entire side also across the corner on your bumper.

So, go jogging again or walk and look for groved front bumpers, front left bumper.

Good luck and send me any more pics if you have them and I'll see what I can do.

Krafty.

go jogging again, but bring a basebal bat with you.

if you dont have a bat, bring a crowbar, sledgehammer, gun etc.
If your really stuck. Big rocks, branches, large objects that can be found on the ground will do.

Sorry to hear man! But it can be repaired...its just the rear bumper. Can be painted or you can get a new rear...insurance: hit and run report??

BTW...love the CSI: E90post...should be a show!

thanks for everyone's comments and concern..does kinda help ease the pain a little..

I'm not too sure of when it happened...It couldn't have happened when I parked while I went jogging because the side that got hit was right next to the curb...the only time I drove before that was while I went to work...

I work at a convience store so there's a lot of in and out traffic, but never have I nor my co-workers ever been hit...and I usually park on the opposite site where there's hardly any cars..but that day, I just had a gut feeling while walking away from my car...something just ain't right.

two days later, I get the bad news.
