Rear View Mirror Compass Blinking?
Anyone else have this happen? When I was leaving for work I looked up and saw in blinking pretty hard between W and N but soon settled down to normal

anybody figure out the reason for the blinking compass? A neighbor just bought a 328XI Sedan and mentioned that his compass on the rear view mirror frequently blinks at a higher intensity. He finds it quite irritating. I told him I'd look around and see if I could find an answer...

I never see mine blink. Then again it isn't really in line of sight when I'm driving.

Blinked bright/dim once
Mine too, one morning, still quite dark. Just started blinking for a few seconds, going bright from nighttime setting.
It happened as I was going around a long slow curve on the interstate. Maybe it has something to do with being right in the middle between two selections, and when it goes back and forth the brightness defaults to daytime. I wouldn't have noticed during the day, only because it was dark out and the intensity was low. When it started blinking it went high intensity. |
