Does the E90 turn on the exterior and interior lights after opening the car using key fob?

Just like Mercedes or Audi.

If by exterior you mean headlights, then no. The door handle lights come on though, and confirmation lights flash (you can enable/disable this via iDrive too).

Interior lights come on too.

the headlights do not come on, just the interior lights, and exterior door handle lights

I wish I could turn off the interior light auto-on option; I've looked everywhere in iDrive.

I confirm Ninjaneer and Mr Smith. I gotta say the LED's under the door handles are the coolest thing at night and gets attention.

I have my DRLs turn on b/c the headlights are ion the "A" mode.

Looks really nice when approaching the car in the dark, looks soooooo sweet.
