BMW "Pull Ahead" Program
Anyone know anything about this ?
The sales Manager from My Dealership called and said that he may be able to get me out my car early and get me into a new one under this program. He "won't know until Tuesday and will call me" Anyone know any more about this ? Thanks, Joseph

Yes, they do it because it moves vehicles and can get you out of your lease and into something new. They'll only do it obviously if it benefits their interests.

I get bogus letters from Nissan dealerships that they are in "desparate need of my 1998 Nissan." The worst was this past week an official looking letter came from Nissan headquarters in TN???? looking like a factory recall, and it was another POS sales pitch.

The Pull Ahead Program allows you to break out of your lease up to 3 months earlier without penalty provided that you purchase/lease a new vehicle with them. You won't need to pay for those 3 months.
If I remember correctly, your dealer will pay for 1 month and the remainder 2 months paid by BMW Financial. In reality, the 1 month that comes out of the dealer's pocket will be part of the discount that you will negotiate for the new car (i.e., if max discount they can offer is $3000, they can only offer now is $3000 minus a month of your payment). |

I have NINE payments left and the dealer still thinks that he may be able to do SOMETHING worthwhile.
